About me and my views on Bodywork

Hello, and thank you for your interest in my services!

My name is Christian McCaleb and I've been in the field of bodywork and nutrition officially for over 2 years and unofficially for much longer. I'm a nerd for all things that optimize our performance and I enjoy doing the research so that I can create effective treatment plans to all who are interested in recovery from pain or just need that boost of energy that comes from loose and free muscles. From the sports athletes to the busy moms out there it's amazing the benefits that come from massage and other non-invasive holistic modalities.

I want to be your first line of defense before you take that ibuprofen or get that cortisol shot! Because most of the time we are just tired of that discomfort coming from pain or tension and just want to get back to giving 100% of ourselves to the world again.

Personal health looks different for everyone because all of our bodies are unique but the great thing about the modalities that interest ME, is that the treatments aren't hard on the body nor do they cost an arm and a leg. I like to research and practice traditional as well as the most modern treatments that are scientifically backed and proven to be effective, not to mention you wont have to go under the knife or take a pill.

The body is our vehicle to navigate through life. And it is perfectly designed to drive you to living the life you desire. It is constantly trying to heal itself and sometimes just needs a nudge or two in the right direction to get going. We just need to guide the systems in the right direction to promote wellness.

Full disclosure: Everything cannot be treated with manual therapy, I am here to practice what I know and what works can be different for everyone. I can certainly guarantee that no one is always at 100% without some sort of need for recovery, and my approach will be geared toward just that.

For a complete bio including my educational background and approach to massage therapy, simply give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you.
